About Alex Mottier
I’m a French illustrator living in the UK, very queer, and disabled ; a dark little gremlin dwelling in liminal spaces. I am the odd one out, the weirdo, the freak, the bizarre.
I paint draw strange creatures – twilight beings like myself – using oils, acrylics, watercolours, or drawing software.
– 13 years working for small French comic-books and RPG books publishers
– 5+ years teaching illustration, colour theory and Art History at university level
– 1.5 years tabling at various conventions and markets in the UK – The Dark Arts Market, EM-CON, Megacon Manchester, and more to come.
